I believe we create our own realities and we do live in our own perception. My perception creates my reality. The question is “do I want to change my perception?” There is a vast difference between simply thinking and directing our thought consciously. Thought is everything!
I am told the world without is a reflection of the world within. When we discover the world within, we find a solution for every challenge and find harmony in our lives. We are looking at cause and effect.
My subconscious does not argue, it only acts. It is collecting information all the time. On the mental side, it is the storehouse of memory. It is the seat of habit. On the spiritual side, it is the source of ideals, of aspiration, of imagination and is the channel through which we recognize our Divine Source. If the subconscious controls all my actions 7 seconds before I do something, I realize how important it is to have the ability to control my thoughts and determine how any experience I have I can observe and choose the emotion or effect.
The mind is creative, as thought is the only activity which the mind possesses, thought must also be creative. Thinking of the subconscious as a plot of land, some have likened it to a garden and it is important to till the soil, weed and water it. I think it is really important to use my “watchman at the gate”. And what is my “watchman at the gate” you ask? It is my conscious mind. One of the Laws of the Mind the Law of Dual Thought. When I attach an emotion to a thought, (and I get to choose the emotion or feeling), it will return whatever I plant.
