I just had my 77th birthday and I feel great!!
I married an older man who stole my heart when I was 16. I went off to college and became a teacher. We married when I was 21. He was WWII veteran who promised God if he survived the war, he would give back. He gave to ourcommunity, the village, the local junior college and the county by serving. He was also the county coroner in addition to his insurance business. I feel blessed to have had 41 years of marriage. We have 2 children. My creative beautiful daughter homeschools her 3 girls. The twins were born 9/9/99. I have enjoyed them growing up. They live 8 minutes away. My son has his first child at 51. She is 13 months now and they live in San Francisco. I am enjoying seeing him so happy.
I retired from teaching school when my son was born. I was able to stay home and be a mom. I also did custom sewing. My husband and I loved to dance and were able to dance all over the world. We would spend 3 weeks in Acapulco every year so he could relax. I have lots of good memories.
I found my health and wellness business almost 40 years ago when I decided to go vegetarian because I did not like what was being done to our food.
I am a widow now and making new memories. I met my partner at our 50th class reunion. His wife had also passed. We are making new memories and having fun.
This picture was taken on the horseshoe over the Grand Canyon.
What a full life you lead, Lee! I LOVE that you are making new memories!
Creating a new life is exciting!
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is one of those “impossible-to-do” things, Lee, that was done anyway!
Thank you for the glimpse into your life! I felt a part of that journey through time and can feel that you are still living life to the fullest!
Thank you for sharing… you are awesome!
